This is the worst news ever. Blake Shelton, with his dirty and drunken tweets and his candid and brazen interviews, is going to be on his best behavior when he co-hosts Sunday night's (April 3) Academy of Country Music Awards. I guess the producers told him he'd need to tone his humor down a notch. So Shelton chatted with the CBS network executive in charge of the broadcast and told him, "I just want you to know that, uh, I take this serious. It's a big deal to me. And I definitely wouldn't bring Reba down with me, you know. Making fun of, you know, Craig Morgan's toupee or whatever ... that would upset country fans." I'm not so sure the executive believed Shelton because the country star admitted in a recent radio interview that the TV executive's response was, "Well, the reason I was calling you was to tell you that they're going to implement a five-second delay for the ACMs." That delay will give CBS the chance to cover up any inappropriate remarks from Shelton -- and potentially suck the spontaneity right out of the show.
