(CMT Offstage keeps a 24/7 watch on everything that's happening with country music artists behind the scenes and out of the spotlight.)
You know you know her. Cat Cora is the best thing to happen to that insane Food Network show, Iron Chef America, where the chefs have to use something kind of obscure, like beets or elk or trout, in their recipes. And Cora stands out because she's the only woman chef on the show. And she is bringing her signature style of cooking (she's part Greek and part Southern, if that gives you any indication) to CMT in June and wants you to join her. It's part of the Fly Away to the 2011 CMT Music Awards With Cat Cora contest. So you and Cora get to hang out and do a preview tasting of the after-party menu, where you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at the after-party setup. You will also get two tickets to the CMT Music Awards (June 8), two nights at the Hutton Hotel in Nashville and round-trip airfare to Music City. And a bunch of cookbooks and gift baskets to take home, just in case Cora inspires the chef in you. Enter before May 15.
