OFFSTAGE: Lambert-Shelton Wedding Features Reba -- and Venison Empanadas?
(CMT Offstage keeps a 24/7 watch on everything that's happening with country music artists behind the scenes and out of the spotlight.)

Reba sang about five songs. That much I know. As did Neal McCoy, who was the official wedding singer. And the shuttle buses didn't start bringing people home from the reception until about 1 a.m. But what other little details do we have about Saturday's (May 14) big ol' Texas-style Miranda Lambert-Blake Shelton wedding? Well, there's word that Miranda Lambert wore her mother Beverly Lambert's wedding dress. No pictures yet, but I'm sure she looked gorgeous. And we know that she served deer cutlets she'd harvested herself. And that the reception was held at the Don Strange Ranch about 45 minutes outside San Antonio. (Which actually might have been the perfect place for a hunter like Lambert because they serve venison empanadas. They also have some out-there stuff like sauteed Oysters Ernie and goat cheese tortes. Hopefully, they had some other basic things on the menu, too.) I'd love to know what kind of gifts the guests bought for the brand new Mr. & Mrs. Blake Shelton. And how the superstar guests mixed with the couple's family and friends. I will be sure to blog about details as they are available.
