Everyone has been dying to see the dress Miranda Lambert wore when she became Mrs. Blake Shelton last Saturday (May 14). So here it is on the cover of US Weekly: a simple ivory strapless dress her mother wore when she married Lambert's father. "My parents have been married for 33 years, so this dress is already a good-luck charm," Lambert said. She wore the dress with a pair of custom-made Casadei cowboy boots, which are like two more good-luck charms, I think. Not that she'll need them. She says she married her best friend and he is definitely good people. She even said that her new husband is so funny, that when the pastor got to the part in the vows about how he'd have to put Miranda before hunting, Shelton hesitated before agreeing, just to get a big laugh from the guests. No wonder Lambert said she's "looking forward to a lifetime of laughter." As for the ceremony, all I know so far is that it took place in a barn all lit up with lanterns. Stay tuned for a look inside later this week.
