When I was at the taping of the final episodes of The Oprah Winfrey Show on Tuesday (May 17), and actress-singer Kristin Chenoweth took the stage and started belting out "For Good," the feel-good, change-is-good anthem from the Broadway musical Wicked, I had the same thought I'm sure the other 13,000 people there thought: Damn, can she sing. Then I was silently wishing Chenoweth would share that voice with the country music world. And voila. I just discovered she is indeed in the middle of making a country album. She has all the makings of a country singer. The church singing in Broken Arrow, Okla., the stint at the Nashville's Opryland and drop-dead gorgeous good looks. The first single is called "I Want Somebody (Bitch About)," and her album, Some Lessons Learned, is scheduled to be released in September. And if you want to hear her belt out that Wicked tune, watch her on The Oprah Winfrey Show on Tuesday (May 24).
