You know how the hit television show Glee is famous for doing song mash-ups where they'll blend two songs that you might not normally imagine together? Like Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer" with the Rolling Stones' "Start Me Up." Or in another episode, they mashed TLC's "Unpretty" with "I Feel Pretty" from West Side Story. It's an odd-but-cool musical technique that is kind of all the rage right now. Even to the point where Keith Urban may give it a try. "You know, I think people are becoming more accustomed to mash-ups and things like that these days. ... Hearing unusual sort of songs that you think would be unusual together, to not seem so strange, back to back," he said in a recent radio interview. "So, hopefully, we've got a chance to spin some new songs." There's talk that he might mix some old with new. So here's what I'm thinking: "Where the Blacktop Ends You Look Good in My Shirt," "But for the Grace of God I'm In," and "Raining on Sunday (in a) Long Hot Summer" and the oh-so-obvious "Who Wouldn't Want to Be Me Without You."
