Whatever. Blah, blah, blah. That's how I felt when I was reading the press release about "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night," Faith Hill's new opening theme for NBC's Sunday Night Football. No offense. It's a great thing she's doing. It's just not super important to me because I'm not a huge sports fan. But by the seventh paragraph, things suddenly got really exciting. "Hill is currently in the studio recording what will be her first release of new music in six years," it says. How great is that? Hill hasn't had a song in heavy rotation on country radio since 2006 when "Sunshine and Summertime" made it into the Top 10. So I'd say the country world is definitely ready for the "Mississippi Girl" to "Breathe" another "Wild One" into the mix. There's no word on when that album will be done, but I'll be here, waiting impatiently.
