"You got a phone book or something to sit on?" That's what NASCAR driver Carl Edwards tells Justin Moore when he asks to drive Edwards' race car. I don't even know Edwards, but after that remark, I love him. I love that he can make fun of Moore's stature (he's 5 feet, 6 inches tall) in a goodhearted way in the outtakes video from the new "Bait a Hook" video they made together. They shot it on Nashville's Percy Priest Lake, and I only have one complaint. They song's all about how the girl will come back to her old boyfriend after tiring of her new boyfriend's sushi, tofu, interstates and his Prius. But she doesn't. She rides off into the sunset with Edwards. Even though he allegedly can't bait a hook, skin a buck, throw out a line, drive a truck or drink Jack Daniel's. Couldn't they have made her have that epiphany before the video ended? I mean, what kind of message are we sending if women are choosing money, power, designer clothes, high-end boats and celebrity over the skill set of a good ol' boy like Moore?
