A red Solo cup full of anything alcoholic really has no place at any high school party. But the kids at William McKinley High School in Lima, Ohio, will soon be singing all about them as soon as Toby Keith's rapidly-rising hit "Red Solo Cup" makes it into one of the episodes based at the fictional high school. As Rolling Stone is reporting, the "boozy ode to plasticware may soon get the shiny-happy show-choir treatment." The song, which Keith described in a recent radio interview as "the stupidest song I've ever heard in my life," is about how the iconic plastic cup is a better receptacle for barbecues, tailgates, fairs and festivals. And how you, sir, do not have a pair of testicles if you prefer drinking from glass. I don't think the song sends the right message to kids about underage drinking, but it's hardly the first time Glee has crossed that line. And who knows. Maybe a round of drinks in red Solo cups is all they need to get Quinn pregnant again and recover from their ratings slump.
