Blake Shelton didn't seem drunk when I saw him at last week's BMI Awards in Nashville. But in this video from CNN, you can tell he takes his right to drink very seriously. "You look at me," he says to the camera. "I drink alcohol. And I always will. Until I die. And I don't care if you like it or not." He is a man who knows what he wants, and I think it's another drink. Shelton also admits that he thinks the reason the people at The Voice like having him on the show is because he's not afraid to be himself or to make an ass of himself. "If I'm a country artist, my job is to lay my heart and soul on the line. And my heart and soul is being a redneck and drinking and being stupid. That's what I do," he admits. It's refreshing how he doesn't try to hide any of his perceived shortcomings. I don't think he's ever truly drunk in all of his "I'm so drunk" tweets, but one thing is for sure, I could get drunk on Shelton's candor.
