(CMT Offstage keeps a 24/7 watch on everything that's happening with country music artists behind the scenes and out of the spotlight.)
You can see Taylor Swift's new video for "Ours" here on CMT.com, but her website has another clip about making the new music video. She even talks a bit about where the ideas came from for this one. "It's really challenging to think of new things," she admits. "Declan [Whitebloom] worked so well with my storyline for 'Mean' that I knew he'd work well with my storyline for 'Ours,'" Swift says of the video's director. But it's the fans she's really grateful for making this video come to life. Because the song was just a bonus track on her last album, but with all the requesting they did, now it's a single and a video. "That's what I love so much about my fans is they always let the best song win," she says. When you watch the music video, be warned. What looks like a video about a mundane day at the office full of elevator awkwardness and printers out of paper and copiers out of toner turns into a tear jerker in the end. Big time. As in, get the Kleenex ready.
