If you don't already have plans for New Year's Eve, consider spending it with Blake Shelton. Why? Because Carson Daly knows all about Blake Shelton and knows it will be a good time. Together, they will be on NBC's New Year's Eve With Carson Daly. Daly hosts The Voice, which is how he got to know Shelton so well. "First thing about Blake Shelton, if you don't know him, to see him is very intimidating, because he is 9 foot 2," Daly joked in a recent radio interview. "And, he's a real smartass! I mean, he really is a smartass! So he makes for a great TV personality." Tony Bennett, Drake, Jimmy Fallon, Ricky Gervais, Jessie J and Cee Lo Green will be there, too, live from Times Square in New York City on Saturday (Dec. 31). The show's website doesn't say how many songs Shelton will be performing, but it's a two-hour broadcast, so I hope that means they'll make time for more than one or two. That way, he could do one from this year ("Honey Bee"), a signature song from years ago ("Ol' Red") and my personal favorite and a very fitting song for the night ("The More I Drink").
