Faith Hill posted her New Year's resolution on her Twitter page yesterday (Jan. 2): "#Faithill here, 2012 goal - tweet more! Stay tuned!" All I have to say to that is, it's about time. So far, the tweets on her Twitter page have always seemed like they came from Team Hill, not Hill herself. They were usually written in the third person, very promotional in nature, and she rarely re-tweeted or replied to her 131,000 followers.
Now that she has this clean Twitter slate, what would you like Hill to start tweeting about? Songs she's listening to? What her daughters are doing? Pictures from her personal life, like what she's making for dinner? Behind-the-scenes scoop from recording sessions or awards shows? What she's up to with @thetimmcgraw? Or just a steady stream of every thought that ever pops into her head?
The idea that a celebrity like Hill can and possibly will share that much of her life with her fans is as captivating as it is disconcerting. But these are the times we live in. So if you can't beat 'em, tweet 'em.
