Every time I see a Twitter conversation going back and forth -- like I did with Miranda Lambert and LeAnn Rimes -- I can't help but feel like I'm eavesdropping. Which is an awesome feeling when it's a conversation between two strong-willed and very witty women. So when this one started last week, I was glued to Twitter. First, Lambert retweeted a picture Rimes had posted (it was of an electronic greeting card from someecards.com that said, "I hate when I'm singing a song and someone corrects me. ...I'm like, 'Bitch, what if I was freestyling.'") Then later, Lambert wrote, "@leannrimes always tweets stuff that makes me think. Who runs the world ... GULZ! (girls in a dramatic British accent)!:)" Then the two got down to business, with Rimes tweeting about Lambert's tour with, "Girls and fire ... song in there somewhere!" And how did Lambert respond? "I smell a co-write!" Let's hope the two Texans aren't just teasing and that they really do put their heads together for some seriously sassy country.
