Ain't nothing sweeter than us Georgia peaches? That's what Lauren Alaina is singing at this CMT Listen Up show she taped at Nashville's 12th and Porter club, but I don't know if I buy the sweet thing in her "Georgia Peaches" hit. Because she's got lines in there about wearing shorts a little shorter and how she loves to dance and loves to flirt and ain't afraid of a little dirt. And when she's singing this song, she sounds like a rock star belting out every word. Not an innocent little rookie with stars in her eyes. She sounds sassy, confident and wise beyond her years. See what you think of her growls and wails on this tune, the second single off her debut album Wildflower. And, while you're there, watch her on a few other songs off the album. "Tupelo," a song dripping with gorgeous mandolin, is a huge standout. And "Dirt Road Prayer," not to be confused with Jason Aldean's "Dirt Road Anthem," is more about talking to God like a best friend. Alaina also performs "I'm Not One of Them" and "In the Middle."
