When you think of Chris Young's grandmother, you probably think of her as the one he sings about in "Voices" -- the one saying, "If you find the one, you'd better treat her right." She is one smart woman. And she quilts. Her most recent quilt creation has a dozen patches of Young's song titles, from "Voices" and "You" to "Tomorrow" and "The Man I Want to Be" and so many more. All for a good cause: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. "I think it's really cool that Nanny has taken up the cause to help raise money for these incredible St. Jude kids who are fighting for their lives. I hope my fans will check out her handmade quilts each month and consider making a bid to help support St. Jude," he said. (That Nanny he's talking about is actually in the "Voices" video. She's the one in the kitchen in the green apron.) You can bid on the Young song quilt on his website. And Nanny? If you're taking suggestions for the next quilt, I'd love to see one in "Neon."
