The traditional gift to celebrate a couple's one-year anniversary is paper. And if I was Blake Shelton, I know exactly what I would have given Miranda Lambert. A fresh copy of the Dallas Morning News all wrapped up with a pretty bow. Because right before she tweeted about being home with her husband for Monday's (May 14) anniversary -- "This time last year I was getting ready to walk down the aisle. Today I get to be at home with my husband and reflect on this crazy year :)" -- Lambert was tweeting her praise for a review of her Dallas show in the paper. "She still belongs to Texas, no matter how famous she gets," was one line she pulled from the story about her Saturday night (May 12) show. (Shelton was oddly quiet about the anniversary, tweeting instead his love for Emma Stone and jokes about being drunk in Taco Bell.) But he did tell CMT Radio he knew what Lambert really wanted was just to be with him. "Here's what's important to her: that we're together on that day. I mean, can't I just buy her something and then just go fishing? But she knows that's what my plan is so she's wanting me to be with her," he said. "So I guess I will." Aww. What a hopeless romantic.
