He says he doesn't want to say the clouds are parting, but that is how Tim McGraw thinks his new music will feel. He told Country Aircheck there's going to be a whole new level to what he does. "I'm in a position with the music I'm recording that it's kind of a watershed time for me as an artist. I don't want to say clouds are parting, but it sort of has that feeling artistically," he said. He also promises that his fans will hear some of this new music -- at least two or three songs -- on his summer tour with Kenny Chesney which kicks off Saturday night (June 2) in Tampa. He isn't sure exactly when the new album will be ready. It could be out this fall or maybe after the first of the year. But McGraw does know this: "I feel like there's way more ahead of me than there ever has been behind me." So, you could say, he ain't as good as he's gonna get, but he's better than he used to be.
