Who cares if Tim McGraw is going to the grocery store? Um, about 232,000 of his Twitter followers, that's who. But even knowing he has that many followers, McGraw still doesn't understand why people would care about the random stuff that happens in his everyday life. That, and he's busy. "I just don't have time. I'm sure that's a lame excuse. Part of me is like, 'Who cares?'" he said Saturday (June 23) at a media event on before performing in Nashville. "Who cares if I'm going to the grocery store? I just really haven't bought in to that. Plus, I like privacy a little bit." He said he tries to do a little more every now and then. "I just can't get into the mundane everyday things that everyone else does in life that everyone wants to hear about." Even his Twitter bio just says, "Hey, Tim McGraw here." So far, most of McGraw's tweets have been music-related, like, "Lots of fun with @ScottyMcCreery last night in Charlotte for I Like It, I Love It!" and "New Single, #TRUCKYEAH out on July 3rd!!" (At least the man knows how to properly tag people and use hashtags.) Occasionally, he'll even post pictures on Twitter. He had one of himself in the studio, "workin' on new record," recently. And earlier, in mid-June, he posted the now-famous shirtless picture of himself holding a giant Nike basketball shoe. His tweet was something about the shoe. But I think the picture spoke volumes about the shape McGraw is in.
