There are really no words to describe the feeling of being at the opening ceremonies of Olympics. Well, there's one word: "Unbelievable."
That's all Keith Urban could say when he filmed a few seconds of the "Welcome to London" part of the ceremony on Friday (July 27). He posted two videos (one is only 16 seconds and the other just 18) to give his fans a tiny feel for the excitement while he was in the audience with his wife Nicole Kidman.
And he tweeted, "Nic and I are at the @London2012 @NBCOlympics opening ceremonies.... OVER THE TOP!!!! --KU." While they were in town, they also attended a swanky star-filled party at a mansion in Soho in central London, where they reportedly had dinner and then headed to the garden to watch the games on an Olympic-sized TV.
More important than all that, to me, is that right before Urban left for London, he was home in Nashville and wrote a new song called "Lucky Charm."
