Jason Aldean was ready. So was his director, Shaun Silva. "I'm ready to get dirty. So's everybody else," Silva said on the set of the video shoot for "Take a Little Ride," Aldean's new single. "It's a country video with a bunch of trucks running around in the mud," he said. (And more than just Chevys, by the way.) Aldean is having fun, too, but it sounds like he's glad he's not out in the mud. "107 degrees outside, and lucky for us, we get to shoot the video indoors today." As for the finished product, Aldean thinks Silva kind of nailed it. "Shaun was really great to work with, and he used some editing techniques I've never seen before in a music video that really give the song an extra shot of energy," he said. Another shot of energy the song has is a new lyric, made kind of possible by the folks at the Coors Brewing Company. They are endorsing Aldean now, so his original lyric about swinging by the Quick Stop to grab a little Shiner Bock (which comes from the Spoetzl Brewery in Shiner, Texas) didn't quite fit. So now the song -- and video -- has him swinging by the Quick Stop for a couple Rocky Tops. The video premieres Friday (Aug. 10) on CMT and CMT.com to officially kick off Jason Aldean Weekend.
