Three hours of country music? Yes, please. I loved the way the CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock TV special on Monday night (Sept. 17) condensed the festival -- which took place over four days in June in Nashville -- into a three-hour television special. Whether or not you were there, hearing "Good Girl," "My Kinda Party," "Banjo," "5-1-5-0," "Fastest Girl in Town," "Wanted," "Postcard From Paris," "Over," "Country Must Be Country Wide," "Drunk on You," "Country Girl (Shake It for Me)," "You Gonna Fly," "Wanted You More," "The Wind," "Barefoot Blue Jean Night," "Springsteen," "Pontoon," "Come Wake Me Up," "Drink on It," "Blown Away," "Fly Over States," "Illusion," "I'm Gonna Love You Through It," "T-R-O-U-B-L-E," "Dixie Highway" and "This Is Country Music" made it feel like you were. But because this is country music and we never take ourselves too seriously, my very favorite parts happened in between the songs.

1. Like when Kimberly Perry and Blake Shelton talked about autographing the most bizarre things. For Shelton, it was a toilet seat.

2. When Luke Bryan put Hunter Hayes on the spot, making him show off all the instruments he plays. Even the accordion, which Hayes said he was playing "in the key of awesome."

3. Watching The Band Perry get lost on their way to the stage at the Hard Rock Café.

4. Bryan asking Lady Antebellum personal questions -- about romance and babies and hair product -- game-show style.

5. Perry asking Underwood some questions from fans. Like one from "Luke B.," who wanted to know if she was going to show off her your legs. "I do have to bring them with me everywhere I go," she answered.

6. Faith Hill reminiscing about her days as a merch girl at Reba's Fan Fair booth years ago.

7. Rascal Flatts telling first-gig stories, like how Joe Don Rooney put all of his dry cleaning away in Chely Wright's tour bus closet when he was just a guitar player in her band.

8. Scotty McCreery listing his potential dream duet partners: Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn and Underwood.
