You've got to love the bravado of a 12-year-old boy to first ask Carrie Underwood for a kiss, then to tell her it had to be lip to lip. It happened at Underwood's show Saturday (Sept. 22) in Louisville, Ky., when she saw the boy named Chase and his sign that read, "Will you be my first kiss?" So she brought him onstage, told him her first kiss wasn't until she was 14 and that her husband was somewhere in the building and might come looking for him later. Underwood then asked the boy, "OK, how are we going to do this?" And he said, "Lip to lip." Which they did, much to the delight of the audience and, I'm sure, everyone who Chase told after the show. (And in case his pals weren't there to see it, Underwood tweeted after the show, "Thanks, Chase, for the kiss and thanks Louisville for rocking so hard tonight! We had fun! #liptolip," to corroborate Chase's unbelievable story.) I remember when Underwood used to bring a little girl up onstage to help her sing "All-American Girl" at every show. I wonder if this kiss-a-boy thing will be her new tradition.
