Kenny Rogers has a memoir, Luck or Something Like It, coming out Tuesday (Oct. 2). And while it sounds like it's going to be a very thorough look at his life -- from being born into Depression-era Texas all the way up to his legendary status in country music today -- there's one topic Rogers didn't write about: his plastic surgery. In a CMT Insider interview, which debuts Saturday (Sept. 29) at 11 a.m. ET/PT, Rogers admits he did write a section about it but that his manager said, "Let's not go there." The book, his manager said, should be about his musical journey, not his plastic surgery. Not that Roger has ever tried to hide that. "I tried being honest about it when it happened," he says. "I'm not embarrassed by it. I never liked the way my eyes looked after the fact. But now they've settled down, and God knows what I would have looked like if I hadn't done it, so I'm actually pretty glad I did it all!"
