Yes, Luke Bryan sings about girls in tied-up T-shirts, honey on their moneymakers and shaking it for the critters and the squirrels. But Bryan is much deeper than his recent hit songs would have you believe. And much more generous, too. During his Farm tour, which is making stops throughout Georgia, Florida, Alabama and South Carolina, Bryan is always giving a little something away. "We just love getting out in the fields, and in each location, we pick the local college and give a scholarship to a kid that comes from a farming background," Bryan told CMT Radio. "And that's the least that I feel like we can do to give back." Bryan himself went to Georgia Southern University before moving from his tiny hometown of Leesburg, Ga., to Nashville to become a songwriter.
