Now, knowing how most men feel about the books -- that they make any and all women feel much more, um, amorous -- I'm surprised Brooks didn't cancel his shows and fly home right after that first 50 Shades text. But the whole virtual conversation does give the video a big dose of reality about how tough it must be to be away from the one you love.
