After her Friday night (Nov. 9) concert in Atlantic City, N.J., Carrie Underwood tweeted that she was leaving in awe. But after what she announced at that Boardwalk Hall concert, I have a feeling she left Atlantic City in awe, as well. "We're so glad to be here and even more glad to be here this evening," she said in reference to the damage Hurricane Sandy had just done to the New Jersey city. "You know, after something like this, you wonder whether the show should go on. We thought, this building was still here, so it must be here for a reason. I wouldn't feel right making any money off of tonight's show. So anything I make is going right back into the community here." I don't know exactly what Underwood meant by "anything I make," but that venue holds more than 14,000 people, and tickets averaged about $65 each, so whatever she donated I'm guessing it was a generous amount. Her full post-show tweet was: "Thank you beautiful Atlantic City! You all made my year! You have been through so much and still rocked the house! I leave in awe! Thanks."
