When I see Shania Twain on a horse, I immediately think: Don't. As in "Don't," her 2004 music video where she was galloping through a Mexican yucca plantation. Back then, it was a white horse and a red dress. But this time, on Wednesday (Nov. 14), it was completely different. Because it was real, in that only-in-Vegas-can-this-be-happening kind of way. And this time, Twain was dressed in a Robins Jeans black embellished duster, a Gucci top, Sandro pants, Dan Post black cowboy boots and riding a black horse. And, she was reportedly accompanied by a herd of 40 other horses and nine wranglers who brought her to the famous Caesars Palace fountains where hundreds of fans were waiting. She did this ride to promote her show -- Shania: Still the One -- which will kick off on Dec. 1 at Caesars Palace and run for two years. And as she was riding in on the Las Vegas strip, "You're Still the One" (her hit song from 1998) was played on outdoor speakers. I hope the horses and the cowboy threads signify that Twain's Vegas show will lean more country than pop.
