(CMT Offstage keeps a 24/7 watch on everything that's happening with country music artists behind the scenes and out of the spotlight.)
Dierks Bentley? Sexy from Arizona. Brad Paisley? Sexy from West Virginia. And in between, you've got Blake Shelton being sexy in Oklahoma and Glee star Chord Overstreet doing it in Tennessee. So I say, God bless America and God bless People magazine for shining a spotlight on everything that is sexy about country music. This genre gets credit for a lot of things: songs we can all relate to, artists who are down to earth and concerts that feel good all over. But sex appeal isn't always top of mind when most people think of country music. I mean, it's at the top in my mind. But I'm talking about the rest of the world. So it's good to put guys like Bentley, Paisley, Shelton and Overstreet right up there with the Channing Tatums of the world. Granted, Tatum is definitely good looking. But he's no Dierks Bentley. The issue is on newsstands Friday (Nov. 16).
