Team Blake (Shelton) won
The Voice on Tuesday night (Dec. 18) with contestant Cassadee Pope taking home the big prize.
But really, as I've said before, it seems to be song choice that wins it for the contestants. The night before, Pope sang
the hell out of Faith Hill's heartbreaking 2002 hit, "Cry," to close out the show. With her ombre hair and a short gold dress
with a cathedral train, she belted it like the winner she now is. Even Shelton was nearly speechless after she sang. "For
every great moment that you've had on the show -- and you've had a lot of them -- I've never heard you sing as good as you
did tonight," he said. "And that's saying a lot." This is the second consecutive win for Shelton on
The Voice. So obviously,
he'll be back next season, as will Adam Levine. But Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green won't -- and will reportedly be replaced
by Shakira and Usher.
