Who knew there were so many ways to be sad? Taylor Swift certainly does. And she's on this 60 Minutes Overtime video explaining them all.

Keep in mind, these are all just love-related kinds of sadness, and she explains them this way: "There's the missing-him kind of sadness. There's the frustrated-and-confused, don't-know-why-it-ended kind of sadness. There's the I-know-we-can't-be-together-but-I-just-miss-you-right-now sadness. Or there's the sadness that's kind of tinged with anger. There's a sadness that has guilt with it. There's sadness that has a little bit of hope he'll come back."

As she explains, she breaks down emotions into "like 50 million categories." And the biggest category is sadness. That all comes through in Swift's songs, but it makes me wonder what would happen if she broke other emotions down into 50 million categories and set those to music. Surely there are a few million ways to sing about being angry, blissful, guilty, scared, jealous or hopeful. Right?
