Oh, the things you can learn when you read every word of a Carrie Underwood cover story! In the February issue of Allure magazine, Underwood talks about falling in love, growing up conservative and finding her fashion. But the parts I'm loving are the little things I never knew before. I mean, did you know she gave her husband Mike Fisher a 1969 red Camaro that used to belong to Alan Jackson? It was her wedding gift to him because, she admits, it was actually something she wanted, too.
Other tidbits I now know:
Underwood still wears a Sam & Ella's sweatshirt from her days spent working at the Oklahoma chicken and pizza place when she was in college.
She got her (peach) high school prom dress in Arkansas.
The magazine shot the very glamorous pictures at the Chateauesque Overholser mansion in Oklahoma City.
Fisher's mom was one of Underwood's biggest fans back when she was just a contestant on American Idol.
