There's nervousness, intensity, excitement. And love. That's pretty much the range of emotions Miranda Lambert says she goes through over the Academy of Country Music Awards. As for the four nominations she received, that's what starts wave one of the emotions. "I just get nervous because it's still just such a big deal to be in there and to know that your peers are still voting for you," she told me in a recent interview. "It's very intense and still a huge deal. And it doesn't get old for me. As for "Over You," the moving song she and Blake Shelton wrote about his late brother, she'd love to see that one win big. "One of my goals as a songwriter forever was to have a song win song of the year. It's huge, especially a song like that that I wrote with my husband," Lambert said. "We've written a bunch together, but that's just one that's super special." And as for the show itself, Lambert says she just can't wait to get to Las Vegas. "I'm just so excited to go to the show," she said. "I love that the ACMs are in Vegas. I love the whole atmosphere. And country is like a family out there. It really is."
