Before Jake Owen was "Jake Owen," he was just a young guy, living in Florida, headed for a professional golf career. He told VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live that he played golf growing up but then had a bad wake boarding accident and had to have reconstructive shoulder surgery. And while he was recuperating, he taught himself to play guitar. Ultimately, music won him over. Still, Owen does like to golf. So, of course, he said yes when he had the chance to play Pebble Beach in a pro-am tournament recently. But on the 12th hole, he accidentally hit a spectator in the head. "He was really cool," Owen told VH1. He later heard from that man on Facebook, and it turns out he'd had a concussion and needed seven stitches. Still, you can see how flawless Owen's swing is in the video he posted. "Today was unreal ... I birdied 18 at Pebble Beach. Have my twin bro caddying this week," he tweeted.
