First, Taylor Swift responded to Amy Poehler's jokes. Now Poehler is responding to Swift's response. I wrote Tuesday (March 5) that Swift told Vanity Fair magazine there's "a special place in hell for women who don't help other women," a possible reference about Poehler and her co-host Tina Fey making Swift's love life the butt of their jokes at the their Golden Globe Awards. (Fey had joked that Swift could use some "me time" to learn about herself.) But it was Poehler who was one of the first responders. After hearing about Swift's "hell" comment, Poehler told the Hollywood Reporter how she felt. "Aw, I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist, and she is a young and talented girl," she said. "That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff." Both Poehler and Swift are such good role models for girls of all ages, they would probably see eye to eye on everything if this little joke hadn't gotten in the way.
