When it comes to talent competition shows, Carrie Underwood is just like us. She gets bummed when super talented singers like Devin Velez get eliminated from American Idol. After last week's results show, Underwood tweeted her emotions when Velez was voted off and the judges chose not to "save" him. "I'm very sad that @DevinAI12 was sent home tonight. He has mad talent. The judges should've used the save. He deserved it," she wrote. And she wasn't the only one admitting how bummed she was. Mariah Carey tweeted, "Ugh. In tears. Devin is a potential superstar, I can't handle it," and Ellen DeGeneres wrote, "I really wish the judges had used the 'save' last night. #idol." Velez seemed to be handling the rejection really well himself. Right after the show, he assured his fans and followers that all was well. "Devineers! :) its ok guys! :) im fine! We're staying positive! God has plans, and im not stopping here! Thanks so.much!" His Motown-week song -- the "Tracks of My Tears" -- just wasn't enough to bring in the votes.
