Everyone who loves Miranda Lambert knows how much she loves her Randarita. It's a cocktail she invented made with Bacardi rum, raspberry lemonade Crystal Light and a splash of Sprite Zero. But there was a day when all she really wanted was a root beer float. Lambert told People magazine in their special country issue that she used to love going to the local soda shop in the afternoons with her dad. "We'd go to this really old-school soda fountain," she said. "It was so cool. I always went for the root beer float." Those memories were such fond ones for Lambert that she was inspired to restore the old soda counter in the building that now houses her Pink Pistol store in Oklahoma. She loves working the counter and loading up all the sodas and floats with sprinkles and cherries. Her signature (nonalcoholic) drink now is the Pink Pistol -- crushed ice, club soda, cherry syrup, vanilla syrup and a maraschino cherry on top. "Songwriting is my creative outlet," she said, "but this is, too."
