When Deacon and Rayna finally hooked up on last week's episode of Nashville, it was the sex scene heard around the world. They'd been trying -- pretty successfully -- to keep their clothes on and stay out of each other's beds. But then, Rayna showed up at Deacon's front door and said, "I know you're trying to move on with your life. And I'm trying to move on with my life. But I love you. That's just never not been true." Then they kissed. Man, did they kiss. And then they kissed some more. It was all pretty hot. But the way Connie Britton describes it in a video Q&A, the scene wasn't as romantic, spontaneous and passionate as it looked. "That might have been one of the most micromanaged first, after-the-fact kisses in television history," she told TV Line of the Deacon-Rayna collision. "There were a lot of conference calls, a lot of conversations about how that scene needed to go and how it was all going to come together." Whatever. I bought into it, hook, line and sinker.
