This is the number that struck me the most about Carrie Underwood's tour: 2,600 pounds of confetti. That's what Underwood used on the Blown Away tour that she just finished. She played for 1 million fans (super impressive) across three continents (so cool) and six nations (truly amazing). More huge numbers: She did 112 shows in all, it took nine buses and 16 trucks to get around and she traveled 605,000 miles with her band and crew. Oh, and 408 beach balls went out to the fans to bounce around during the show. But come on. Can you even picture 2,600 pounds of anything? That confetti number blows my mind. Because at 2,600 pounds, that means the total weight of the confetti was somewhere between a male giraffe and a Ford Focus. The only number that might pique my curiosity even more would be the number of brooms it took to clean the confetti up after all 112 shows wrapped.
