How's this for diversity in musical influences? The first album Miranda Lambert owned was Garth Brooks' No Fences, Ashley Monroe's was a Patsy Cline album and Angaleena Presley's was one by Whitesnakee. That doesn't exactly sound like a recipe for eventual musical perfection, but it somehow works for the Pistol Annies. In People magazine's new country special issue, the trio said they are crazy about all kinds of kinds of music. Lambert said she woke up that day to her husband Blake Shelton blaring John Anderson, Presley woke up to a Lambert song and Monroe woke up with Shelton's "Boys 'Round Here" in her head. As for first concerts, Lambert went to see Brooks, Monroe went to Louise Mandrell and Presley saw K.T. Oslin and Randy Travis. But the one guilty pleasure song they all seem to agree on? Miley Cyrus' "Party in the U.S.A."
