So ... Blake Shelton, George Strait and Julianne Hough walk on to a bus. Sounds like the start of a joke, I know, but it's actually just the start of a true story Hough told recently to Access Hollywood when she was in Los Angeles to watch the live season finale of The Voice. "I've got two of my nieces in town, and I'm friends with Blake, so he got us tickets," she said. Then she talked more about her friendship with Shelton, which led to the tequila story. "We both opened up for George a couple of years ago," she said. "We may or may not have done tequila shots on George Strait's bus at one point." She referred to that night as "the greatest moment of my life possibly." Nights like that, I think, sometimes make the best country songs. I mean, it wouldn't be the first song about tequila. (John Anderson's "Straight Tequila Night" and Joe Nichols' "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off" come to mind.) But think of how many words rhyme with Strait, Blake, show, bus and shots.
