When the Toby Keith tour takes a break, opener Kip Moore knows how he'll be filling his time -- surfing, surfing and more surfing. "If I get three days off, I fly to the east coast and surf. There's a cool little town just south of Charleston, S.C., called Folly Beach. I love going there. Plus, Charleston is a killer city," Moore told me when he was in Chicago on Sunday (June 30). "But then when I get a whole week off, I'll go somewhere big, like Hawaii, Nicaragua or the Dominican Republic and surf there." But it's not like Moore is all play and no work. He said he loves touring with Keith and called him the kindest and most accommodating artist he's been on the road with. "He's gone through so much of the grind over the years, so he knows what it's like to be in my position. And he makes sure his guys take care of us," Moore said. "He's come up to me a few times and said, 'You bein' treated right?' I look forward to doing the same when I'm in his position."
