Most of the guys in country music today have at least one song about a girl -- or girls -- in cutoffs. But newcomer Brett Eldredge is actually going above and beyond the call of duty and helping girls make those cutoffs just right. (Just like his song "Don't Ya" says, "Girl, you cut those jeans just right/I know you didn't buy 'em like that/So baby don't even try that.) Eldredge's website now has an infomercial parody with Eldredge playing the part of the loudmouthed cheesy hawker selling the Cut 'Em Just Right Kit. The video has all the elements of a real short-form infomercial -- exaggerated before and after images, the frustrated girl without the kit who ends up with uneven shorts, a long list of irrelevant disclaimers and then the girl who used Eldredge's kit (which is just scissors in a box) with perfect results. "Look at those britches," he yells. All that for only $12.43. Even if you aren't in the market for just-right cut offs, Eldredge has a new album due out Aug. 6, and Glamour magazine recently called him "your country gateway drug."
