I have always envied songwriters like Keith Urban. I mean, when he wants to wish someone a happy birthday or tell them to get well or that he is thinking about them, all he'd have to do is pick up his guitar and sing. And knowing Urban, he could probably even make up some genius lyrics on the spot. He's now helping us kind of do a similar thing. Urban has this whole line of singing greeting cards, so you can celebrate anything with 15 seconds of Urban at a time. I'm sure some of his songs didn't make the cut because for instance, what kind of greeting card would call for a snippet of "Stupid Boy"?
Anyway, CMT.com has the exclusive and complete list of Urban's songs that made the list:
1. "Better Life" (birthday)
2. "But for the Grace of God" (birthday)
3. "Days Go By" (birthday)
4. "Where the Blacktop Ends" (birthday)
5. "Shine" (support/encouragement)
6. "Once in a Lifetime Love" (love)
7. "Sweet Thing" (love)
8. "Put You in a Song" (birthday)
9. "Thank You" (love)
10. "Long Hot Summer" (birthday)
11. "Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me" (birthday)
12. "Everybody" (friend)
"For me, a card, like music, has the ability to make an emotional connection," Urban told the Hallmark people. "I love knowing that these cards and my music will mark such meaningful moments in so many people's lives."
