Country music does this to people sometimes. It pulls them in and won't let go. And now it's even happening to Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift's pal and tourmate. The British pop singer said he's thought about making some country music of his own. "Country music is some of the best-written music in the world, so yeah, one day I would keep my mind open to doing a country record," reports MTV's U.K. website. And as for playing for the Swift crowd every night, Sheeran said, "Mums have an excuse to go nuts. The daughters are just chill. They're enjoying their first concert. The mums are kind of reliving their youth a tiny bit." But it's not just Swift's brand of country music that has Sheeran keeping his mind open to the allure of country. "Hunter Hayes has some sick music," he said, using "sick" in the very best way. "There's so much good country music out there."
