How Taylor Swift had time to go to the Toronto International Film Festival is beyond me. I mean, isn't she the busiest she's ever been? She's still touring all over America, prepping for her tour dates in Australia, catching up on Law & Order, writing songs, hanging out in Rhode Island and watching viral cat videos on the Internet. Yet there she was, at the premiere of One Chance, a film about Britain's Got Talent winner Paul Potts.
And while she was there, she admitted to E! that she might actually maybe someday do some more acting of her own. She got a taste of it when she had a pretty big role in the movie Valentine's Day and smallish parts in the TV shows New Girl and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
"That's always something that's in the back of my mind if the right thing came along," she said. "It would have to be something so amazing that it would take me away from writing songs and touring, which would have to be an incredible script."
No pressure, though, screenwriters. If you want her in your movie, just write an incredible script.
Swift was at the premiere because she wrote a song -- with Fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff -- for the end credits of the film.
"The story just blew me away," she said. "I didn't know the story of Paul Potts. He's working a cell phone store and then ended up winning Britain's Got Talent. You have to see it. It makes you feel so many different things."
There's no word on a U.S. release date for the film yet.
