How much sexy is too much sexy in one movie? That's the real question now that Tim McGraw has revealed a few tiny details of his upcoming Disney movie. He'll be co-starring with George Clooney in Tomorrowland. McGraw will head up to Vancouver next week to start filming.
Now, if you assume Clooney is one of the sexiest movie stars out there and McGraw is one of the sexiest country stars out there, will moviegoers be faced with some kind of sexiness conflict onscreen? Like, who do you look at first? Which one do you cheer for, and which one do you love to hate? Do you cross your fingers that one will take his shirt off at some point, even though it's a Disney move?
It's certainly not the first time Clooney will share the screen with a fellow sex symbol. He had the Ocean's movies with Brad Pitt, plus Batman & Robin with Chris O'Donnell, The Perfect Storm with Mark Wahlberg and The Ides of March with Ryan Gosling.
McGraw's movies, on the other hand, like Friday Night Lights, The Blind Side, Country Strong and Dirty Girl didn't really have him co-starring with any other sex symbols. I never even saw the last one, I just know he played the estranged father of the leading lady. Not a super sexy character at all.
Maybe if while they are filming the two men have some kind of bromance, like Blake Shelton has with Adam Levine on The Voice, their chemistry during the movie would be easier to handle. According to IMDB.com, Clooney will play a former boy genius, and the plot sounds a little Back to the Future.
Tomorrowland is being directed by Brad Bird (The Iron Giant and Ratatouille) and will be in theaters in sometime late next year.
