A lot of 2-year-olds go through the inevitable "terrible 2's" stage. But not Jewel's son Kase Townes. Kase is 2 and a-half, and so far so good, his dad Ty Murray told People magazine.
While other kids his age may be tormenting their families and the general public with ill-timed temper tantrums, overusing the word "no" and climbing anywhere and everywhere, it sounds like Kase is just the opposite.
"He's a smart, fun kid who goes with the flow," Murray said. "There isn't one thing about it that feels terrible to me. Whatever suits him. It's awesome. He likes being with his mom and dad, and he doesn't care what we're doing."
Kase reportedly loves books and now, after spending time at their home in Colorado, skiing. He had his first ski lesson in what may be the world's cutest little pair of skis.
"He did great, he had a really good time, and by the end of the lesson, he was skiing on his own. Jewel's on about her fourth ski lesson. Them little guys just take to it," he said. "It's funny how much quicker they learn."
Better skiing than riding bulls. That's probably what Jewel and Murray, a former bull-riding champ, are probably thinking.
Jewel is currently off the road and apparently offline, as well. She tweeted late last week, "Going technology free for a week! Write! See ya in the other side!"
