Her name is Danielle and she's a Starbucks addict.
Danielle Bradbery, 17, admitted in a radio interview that she has become a little dependent on Starbucks. Just in the nick of time, too. She's about to join Hunter Hayes for his We're Not Invisible tour starting Thursday (March 20), and to keep up with him, I think a coffee fix comes with the job.
"I've gotten really addicted to Starbucks," Bradbery said. She admits she got hooked when she was competing (and ultimately winning) on The Voice. They had a Starbucks on the set, so she was probably surrounded by fellow addicts. "I was constantly there, and if anybody wanted to find me, you could find me at Starbucks."
She added, "Every time I go to Starbucks, I try to change it up, and I usually get that iced green tea latte which normal people would be like, 'That looks like it tastes bad,' but it doesn't. ... Starbucks is probably what keeps me awake, too."
Maybe next fall, her labelmate Taylor Swift can introduce Bradbery to the seasonal pumpkin spice latte she loves so much.
In other Bradbery news, she has visited five high schools from California to North Carolina to raise awareness about music education in schools.
"This is a great way to reach kids my age and show them that the skills they learn in music can help them to be successful in life. Through music, I've learned the value of persistence and working hard to make my dreams come true," Bradbery told Billboard magazine, "and I look forward to sharing that with students and others during the tour."
