Following public grand opening ceremonies at 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 17, the new Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum at
5th Avenue South and Demonbreun will open with a schedule of special programming through the weekend.
Beginning at
11:30 a.m., Thursday's museum admission will be free to the public through 6 p.m. At 8 a.m. on Thursday, timed admission
tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis. Tickets will be distributed from a tented box office on the
5th Avenue South side of the city park located directly across Demonbreun from the museum. The last tour will begin at 5
p.m. The museum store will be open until 7 p.m.
Beginning on Friday, May 18, the museum will be open daily from 10
a.m. until 6 p.m. For the summer season, Memorial Day through Labor Day, the museum will remain open until 10 p.m. on Thursdays.
The gallery tour is expected to take a minimum of two hours.
Admission is $14.95 single day/ $24.95 two day for adults;
